The government made a commitment to 'ensure that all social housing meets set standards of decency by 2010'. Dawsetway offer a complete package to social housing providers to support Decent Homes targets.

We work with local authorities, housing associations and arms length management organisations (ALMOs) to address their targets to bring their social and private sector stock to the government's Decent Homes Standards.

We provide complete project management of refurbishment of kitchens and bathrooms, from the initial removal of the old to replacement of the new. The in-house team of fitters, plasterers, electricians, plumbers and tilers ensure our clients' timescales are achieved and Decent Homes targets are met.

Properties can also be surveyed to check if the Decent Home Standard of 'a reasonable degree of thermal comfort' is met. If insulation or heating measures are required, we can advise the client and access any potential funding if required.
